20's Plenty for Cockenzie and Port Seton

Support

We have letters of support from the MP and MSP for East Lothian and also some local councillors We have a letter from the Scottish Government stating that it supports 20mph

We received a donation of £200 from Cockenzie and Port Seton Community Council
We received a donation of posters and stickers from Seton Sands Holiday Village

We have petitions with over 200 residents and visitors signatures
We have letters of support from local groups and businesses
We have the support of many Tenants and Residents Groups around the County and the support of the East Lothian T&R Executive Panel

At a meeting on 29 Oct 2013 with East Lothian's Leading Councillors, members of 20's Plenty in East Lothian (C&PS, Dunbar and three Tenants and Residents Groups) it was agreed that Dunbar would start trialling in the new year and that the three T&Rs could follow after 6 months.

There is a lot of work still to be done as we must show that residents want 20mph where they live. PLEASE SUPPORT 20'S PLENTY FOR COCKENZIE AND PORT SETON BY SIGNING THE ONLINE FORM.
